hmm... time to blog on... my lovely niece... charlize... jongling kor kor's daughter.. my first niece from my mum's side's relative.. she looks big for full month baby.. think she weigh 4+kg when she was first born.. i rmb i was quite heavy when i was first born... but.. she won me.. haha.. i was "only" 3.33kg.. haha.. anyway.. upload some pic that i took on the day of her full month celebration.. ;) and... some photos that her daddy sent me... :) My cousin must be really happy to have such a beautiful daughter.. doesn't she look sweet? :P

Went for a one day desaru tour with my boy during the short public hol break.. hmm... wasn't really worth the money thou.. if say.. u are looking for real seafood trip... cos... this trip was $73 incl petrol tax.. hmm... meals and itinerary are included.. except for 1 breakfast.. own expense.. the lunch was said to be buffet lunch with unlimited fruits.. the spread wasn't good.. nt much variety and the food doesn't really look fantastic either.. the fruit types were also limited.. disappointing.. no mangoes.. no durians... was only stuff like... watermelon, banana, honey dew, pineapple...etc (can't rmb much.. haha..) then the so called seafood dinner with lobster... it's baby lobster... slightly bigger than prawns.. more like crayfish.. sharkfin also nt very amazing.. abit too watery... hmm.. food wise... nt really very gd la.. but.. it's really the money u pay, the things u get will be directly related... so.. can't blame much...

We went to the desaru fruit farm.. there are really many fruits there.. and the guide did explain rather well i must say.. the bananas u see in the picture is a different breed.. not the type we usually eat.. it's said to bring gd fortune if u touch from the tip to the bottom.. believe it? :) I forgot wad is the name of them plant with the "hanging bulbs" but it was quite special.. so i took a photo of it.. doesn't it remind u of... Christmas?? lol.. the bells we hang on the xmas tree.. look alike isn't it? this farm actually rear bees also.. they sell raw honey too... (multi-tasking farm..)

oh yes.. the farm is a one stop multi shop i must say.. they also have a small animal farm in their fruit farm.. and the animals are placed tgt without prejudice (all equal regardless of... breed?? lol..) the cock is placed with ducklings.. and turkeys, ostriches live together as well.. rabbits and monkey are left on the "counter" nt chained... ducklings and tortoise live together too! haha.. gosh.. look at the strong and alien looking legs of the ostrich.. look so much like... jurassic park's dino legs.. check out the owl's eyes... so BIG! look so much like a fake bird.. haha..

Our itinerary also includes a visit to the fisherman's museum.. bottom is the contrast btw the man-made beach model and the actual beach view on the bottom right.. obvious?

Took a photo of my boy at the musuem.. doesn't he look like a wax model there... haha.. resemblance?? err.. haha.. camouflage with the fake model at the bottom right hand corner.. lol.. shh.. dun let my boy noe i say he look like wax man.. haha.. =X

Night time.. we went to take a boat ride to see fireflies.. we were really lucky.. there were lots of fireflies tt night.. nt able to take any photos in the dark.. can't see anything in the photo.. but.. it's really great to see "natural" lights... abit of xmas feeling.. ;P xmas trees deco with fireflies.. haha..

thou the food may nt be fantastic.. but.. the time spent with the special one makes the trip all worthwhile.. hehs.. *goosebumps* lol.. the boat ride seemed to the the catch of the whole trip.. haha.. abit.... lo-man-tic lah.. haha.. (must crop off all the other tourists.. den feel romantic la.. haha..) anyway.. it's really a great time for me.. cos i got to spend a day with my boy... ;) *lurve lurve*

okies... let me blog some stuff first ba... haha... hmm... other time did a trailer for the li wa zhuan.. the oldie video i posted earlier.. it's my group assignment.. hmm.. the overview video is to let everyone know the summary of the story within 2 minutes, then they can have a better picture of wad the story is like and can understand our presentation better... hmm.. our presentation was in the form of a 座谈会。and.. haha... we had "invited" guests from the past... 李娃（黄欣饰），白行简（符珊饰），陈大人（约翰饰），and guests from present world... haha.. hmm.. 文坚，植豪 as professionals... 文学家 and 历史学家... "chimology" hor? haha.. hmm... and we have 宝之 and 国宏 as the MCs of the presentation.. 主持人s。 how abt me?? haha.. my role is rather different than i appear to be... i'm actually a 现代女性 - 女强人。蛋马西集团的总裁，何董。stress stress leh... i'm the "pirated" version of the Ho Ching of Temasek Holdings la.. scary sia... ppl who know me sure noe i definitely not a 女强人 type.. haha.. anyway.. the presentation was quite fun.. the fun factor mainly comes from steven.. our host.. he very creative and wise at words.. of course.. everyone put in lots of effort practising and researching... cheerios to huang xin.. our li wa.. she seem to be still "possessed" and nt recovered yet.. the last presentation by other grp, she still addressed herself as li wa... lol... anyway.. we took a grp pix aft our presentation that day.. oh ya.. i dressed to the "occasion" leh... do i look at least abit of a director? lols...

Being a teacher has some benefits after all.. this year.. singapore flyer had a promotion for all teachers for teachers day.. teachers fly for free and subsequent tickets at.. i think.. 25% or 30% for that period of time.. geez!! happy.. :) so.. went "flying" with my boy... and took some pictures of the scenery from the top... photos look like postcards... at this very moment.. singapore looks exceptionally beautiful.. hees! :P

病魔缠身。。。。。。

yesterday had slight sorethroat... feeling cold and running fever... and the thing in my left side of my nose swell again... slept for about 14 hours ytd!!!! sleep worm sia.... den this morning, fever gone.. but sorethroat worsen...

went to ntu's medical clinic today... the doctor like 敷衍我 like that... very fast prescribe medicine for me... wierd medication la... no cough, he give me medicine for phlegm.. den no syrup for sorethroat.. give me flu medicine and vitamin C... take the medicine twice le... sorethroat seem to be worse than before... and now... can't slp... cos the thing in my left nose swell again.. and... make me sneeze and i think i injured it again... cos.. just now.. it bleed... -_-"

should i see doc again... at somewhere else this time....?

*sigh* can't use the communication skills binded book my sis pass to me.. it's just a semester difference and i can't save money on that... need to buy the textbook for that... as mentioned by the tutors..... yes... the book costs less than $20..... of course!! it's... $19.90 i think.... haha... great isn't it? hehs... ate at central on sat... the curry udon tastes really great... but... his stomach went protesting after that... lucky everything was alright after that.. manage to catch a lil' glimpse of the fireworks from clarke quay... many people.. esp tourists were taking videos and pictures of it... after all ended, the sky seemed so polluted... so smoky... but... geez! i love fireworks! they are just simply so beautiful! :)

(wonder if this is called productivity? efficient? lols.. hees!) stacks and stacks of books waiting for me to mark everyday.. and piles of worksheets to bring back to mark so that i could finish marking in time... it's not like last time where i have more time with them, can have more time to mark.. *phew* i'm back to the life of a student... i just love my holidays... not days for me to clear markings... yet... really days for me to have fun and play!! :)

happy happy happy.... it's been a long break for my dear boy.. cos of.... hari raya and christmas... but this also means his sgh appointment is round the corner... *worried* baa! dun talk abt that.... today i was like some crazy fellow going around clementi searching for "buyers" for the 3 crazy crazy hp.... or rather "spare hp" at home... no one wants the hpsssss..... haha... if it's me, actually, i also dunwan... their condition is really quite bad... one, the lcd screen spoil le... colour run off... can't read clearly wad's on the screen... another one has got no sound... den in the end dunno has no batt or the batt spoil somemore... the so called "better" one leh, if they test, i not scared.. cos got sound and got colour... screen no problem.... only "underlying" problem is it rings occasionally on its own (even when it is off-ed!!!!!) scary.... and.... only if the person don't try to make long calls... cos... i call that last mayb 5 min, will "use up" the battery that is being charged through the nite.... haha.... i call this..... hmm... S^3 phone... cos..... it's... siao siao and scary... haha... update again soon! :)

yesh madam! (kiki) :P anyway... went for my half annual dental care check, my retainers can fit in haha... (luckily!! heng heng me! :P) hmm.... sad sad sad... my results are out... my eng medium modules are doing better than my chinese medium modules... how can i be chinese teacher den?? haha... anyway... manage to get over and done with for my first semester in sch.. -_-" not very well done... but manage to cross the safe line, i'm already glad.. hehe... hope i'll do better the next time round... watched Alvin and the chipmunks last week! it's a real cute comedy i would say... i love Theodore!! the most chubby, shortest and cute chipmunk of all... i love those innocent eyes and the innocent look on it's face when it says he had a nightmare and wanted to sleep beside "daddy"!! had been busy trying to fix my home's desktop.... the only desktop left... my bro la.. when we are all not around, he saw a pop-up online saying that they detected a number of virus in that computer, ask him to download the 'anti-virus- program...

and.......... Whhoooosh! that is the stupid virus program itself...

and worse have yet to come... it's the most irritating virus i've ever seen.... no matter how u delete the infected files, u still can't remove the virus.. and it keeps having the pop-ups asking u to download the antivirus program... i've already disabled the internet for that desktop.. but to no avail!!! goodness!!!

i've been facing that stupid desktop day and nite to scan for virus...etc but still not ok yet....

and those who noe about pc virus... u all should noe that... TROJAN HORSE is the WORST virus a computer can get... and YES!!! it's TROJAN!!!

this virus is super dangerous... it can would infect the files in your computer greatly.. and has a super high risk of exposing all your passwords to the hackers... all the private info will be readily available to them lor...

den at home, i'm always the one who looks into the electronic stuff... so.. all throw to me to fix it... i also not wad technician.... worse come to worse, i'll format EVERYTHING in that stupid desktop...

I have to admit that i'm such a irresponsible blogger who doesn't really commit much on my blogging.. haha.. i noe that had disappeared into thin air for the past 1 mth plus.. cos... i'm really busy at all the assignments, both individual and group.. also, study for my 2 chinese test... it's just like exams... cos the weightage is 50% of my final score... (scary!!!) teacher is not gonna reveal to us the results... not gonna go through the answers too.. gosh! and.... the tutor say for the first test.. the on for chinese grammar, there are 2 students in my tutorial group who failed... worst is 45 outta 100... i've got a strong feeling that's me.. cos i din complete my test... stupid me.. went to write full sentences to answer while most of my peers use point form... wasted all my time... gosh gosh gosh...

of cos... other than sch stuff.. i have a life of my own.. during my term break for a week, got 1 day to let down my hair with my boy.. wanted to go for a short tour.. 2d1n at some island near singapore.. but.. it was found not possible.. first, unsure abt the date he is free after POP and before his posting and i am also not sure if i can leave the country while i'm not having the actually vacation break. so... end up... our short short holiday is really an island super near... hehe.. sentosa.. haha.. cos.. going to those islands means going to beach areas.. sentosa does help to "create" a similar image.. we just have to imagine that we are at rawa, or wadeva beach island la.. anyway... ya.. we had a short hols at siloso beach resort.. it's a beautiful resort.. but rather ex.. cos 2d1n in their cheapest room and with special price for islanders, costs about $180.. it's inclusive of entrance fee and u can get the pass to take the bus or express and no need to return..(it's stated there.. for 3 days usage.. so no need to return.. it's purple in color.. we got.. 3 passess.. cos i dun need it.. have my islander card) the pool inside was quite pretty... cafe del mar was just opposite.. but.. haha.. we are no drinkers.. so, we din go there anyway...

mum was curious abt how beautify would the resort be and since the entrance for us is free, mum decide to drive us in and take a look at the resort and have some fun.. haha.. younger sis was home too, so she came as well.. 4 of us went in by car, but only the car needs to pay... (haha.. $2) den my mummy parked at the resort and 参观 the room.. she sort of likes the resort pool as well and she like the idea that the resort can see the beach.. so, if it's family gathering, can see where the kids are and wad they are doing.. but... the room isn't really huge to house many people.. haha..

we went to have a skyride and luge ride.. we, as in, all 4 of us... at first, thinking that my islander can get discount for all of them.. $5 each person.. just like the last time with kaijia, sihui, caiping..etc but.. that kuku person say only me can enjoy the discount price.. wanna just skip the ride.. but mum say since here already, dun care la.. so, she still went for the ride.. i still like the luge ride lots.. hehe.. during the luge ride, my younger sis dunno why.. got stuck to the side.. at the grass patch.. no idea how she gets there since the road for us to ride down is rather broad.. so.. we all had a good laugh.. haha.. after which, we all went to take the express to vivo.. mum n sis went to buy donuts and eat long john and walk around, leong n me go shop shop, look around, and also rackey wad good food we can have for dinner.. cos is still considered as our holiday.. dunwan to have simple fare.. haha.. after that, we went to take the express back to sentosa... surprisingly.. we were in the same express with my mum n sis again.. haha.. so, we walked them back to the resort..

next morning, we had breakfast at the resort cos breakfast is included when u book the rooms.. nothing very special abt the breakfast.. it's buffet style.. but nth much to choose.. bread, crossiant, fried noodles, eggs, sausage....etc afterwhich, we book out and sayonara!

even though it's not the very 二人世界 as i expected cos my mum n sis came.. but still enjoyed the trip.. cos.. it's a good break to have from my hectic lifestyle.. i'm looking forward to family chalets, holidays.. as in going on tours...etc i wan to go japan, thailand, taiwan, hongkong, korea, china, europe.... many many more.. i just wana travel around the world.. must earn lots of money and travel.. hehe... my new goal in life.. keke..

last week, went to vivo wif leong, cl and mel.. actually got winson also.. but dunno why he can't turn up the last min.. anyway.. ya.. we went to watch resident evil: extinction.. it's still as gross and bloody.. but i watched the earlier resident evil.. so, wanna see how the story continues.. quite wierd cos din really know melvin very well.. scared they would feel uneasy having a girl around.. but.. it's quite a good experience cos.. it's not always i with my frenz, he with his frenz, den we go out alone.. it's good to have some frienz in common that we can go out together with frenz we know, together.. :)

it's a super long update.. thou i noe.. if i had been blogging for everyday, the entry would be much longer.. but.. i still have assignments gonna due soon.. so.. have to stop here..

has anyone tried donut factory?? i tried once and i am kinda addicted to the donuts... it's delicious.... but at the same time.. super sinful and need to queue for very long... the last time i went on a sat afternoon and i queued for abt 2 hours to buy... today.. i queued about an hour... sian... nice donut... but... opens at 12pm and limits 2 dozen per customer.. and.. there isn't any separate queue for for customers who just wan 1 or 2 to try... i think they shd have la.. cos people who wan to just try the donut will not wan to queue for such a long time.. and if they decide to queue and buy, in the end.. they would buy more because they would feel that the time spent on queuing up is not worth buying just 1 or 2... that is the main reason why donut factory's biz is so good la... u will be amazed by how ppl line up for these donuts.. cos the queue "breaks" into 3 portion... so unbelievable.... my mum loves the donuts there.. and guess.. in my home.. only me have the most patience to line up... haha... teacher must have alot of patience... so.. those who wanna practice patience.... go queue for donut factory.... haha... anyway..... the flavours that are nicer are.... double chocolate, the original glazed, apple cinnamon..... those who likes choc... double choc is really nice... and those who prefer less sweet or healthier choice, apple cinnamon is a great choice... hehe...

Happy Teachers' Day!!!!!

hehe.... so happy!!!! it's finally my e-learning week.. dun need to go to sch... lols... and..... finally got my lappy... the one i asked many ppl for advises... the hp one... hope can claim $400 from MOE.... to "subsidise" the lappy further... hehe... so happy... my dearie's birthday just over not long... not much of a celebration.. cos... his actual date of birthday is on a weekday... where he's in ns.. he showed me his photos with his platoon n bunk mates... interesting... he's really smart in his uniform i must say.. haha... but he looks like a boy boy with da cap... haha... oh yes!! finally.... the first ever educational psychology group assignment is over!! it's about classroom management... it was a combination of a presentation and role play... it's quite fun... and... haha... during the roleplay, i burst into laughter... (goodness sake... i'm acting as a teacher in the roleplay la... and i actually laughed when my "student" misbehaves and looks smug..) lols... my fren's look is really too cheeky.. and i ended up laughing while scolding my "student" in the roleplay... haha... but i'm glad all the student teachers had a great laugh and everything is over for the time being now... :P need to revise and do alot of e-learning the coming week... bless me!! can't afford to "retain".. no $$ to compensate... haha.. :P

18th Aug... (sat)
met up with Rena, Spen, Ting... according to Ting.. it was a gathering suggested by Spen... so sweet of her to call for a gathering... :) Thanks to Ting n her bf... thanks for sending me to cityhall... it was a nice ride.... her bf is friendly... i give them my blessings... hehe... Spen is as skinny and fair as ever.... please tan yourself n.... eat more?? hehe... rena... you still look as fine and pretty... don't worry about putting on a little weight... give you and glenn my very blessings too!! both of you really looked loving and compatible... :) We met up to watch fireworks together!! the fireworks were really beautiful and they were really like... super close to us... like... it's just above us... super nice!!! I just kept WOW-ing with Spen esp... It's really impressive.... But i just can't help thinking about how the tax payer feels when their taxes are actually spent on fireworks and POOF! their hardearn money just disappear in minutes..... i really love fireworks! they are beautiful.... but i guess... because fireworks disappear very fast... so we cherish all the chances to view them... if they are always readily available... i guess... we wouldn't feel so much for them anymore... haha... sound so emotional.... ate "dinner" with them at Thai Express... I love the glass noodles there.... but.... i really have a super small appetite after the surgery.... only ordered a chicken broth.... but it's delicious too! hehe.. hmm... why inverted commas for dinner?? cos it's really late.... i seldom have late dinners alr.... and.... i told them i gonna go home by 10.30..... and in the end.... i start to be on my way back at about 1.30.... 3 hours later.... but it was really nice to catch up with them once in a while... :)

Met up with wl... ratatouile not screening yet... so we meet for dinner and shopping!!! went beach road... bugis... central.... though it's mere spending time together... but i really do cherish the time we could spend together... esp when it's when he is in ns.... the time he could spare is really little... :) anyway.... yah.... everytime he goes back to camp... i'll miss him... so when he's out for a breather... i'll love to spend time with him... even if it's just a meal together or acc him to buy groceries.... i just love my boy... :P

Monday blues...... it's lesson time againz.... and my monday is always a bad start... cos my lesson is really early.... it's 8.30am!!! hate to leave home that early.... i realised that i'm more and more homely person... i like to coop at home.... haha..... hmm.... bad day cos end of the day.... my ed psy group member come to me and say... our group assignment is due next week.... so we gonna meet up n discuss..... which means...... i need to come early or forgo my break...... so... ya... our meeting was set on 22 Aug....(Wed.... today!!!) boo hoo!!

I love Tues...... i have my fav. ed psy lesson... the one on classroom management... it's super fun and i love the tutor lots..... she always have stories for us to hear.... i love to listen to stories.... when i'm young... i always wish to have a parent or anyone who is super sweet...... who can read me bedtime stories to put me to slp.... haha... but too bad..... there isn't anyone doing so.... but i still enjoy listening to stories.... hehe... Tues is my lecture day..... so can dress super casual like nobody's biz... haha... went to find out about the CLEAR club with xiao ying and jia shyuan... not very interested to commit myself in any club.... the distance to nie puts me off... haha... at the end of everything...... thanks to jack who send me to boon lay station in his red march.... i felt quite bad cos it's not in the way... he purposely did a detour... but it's really nice of him to do so... gonna give him a treat someday... :)

TODAY!!!!! started off sch at a late time.... 1.30... first time attending the yu fa tutorial.... on mc for the 1st tutorial and 2nd tutorial was cancelled..... the teacher is really humorous too... enjoyed the lesson... but.... the content to learn is really confusing me.... need some clarifications!! met up with my ed psy group members to discuss about the proj.... obviously an hour is not enough to get everything done.... so.... we gonna meet up again tml.... Happy.... lessons cancelled tomorrow.... so it's late lessons again!!! but.............. sobx sobx.... make up on friday....... which is originally my fav day... cos no lessons..... but heng.... the makeup lessons are in the morning.... so i'll still have my afternoon!!! hehe... met up with cl for dinner tonite and catch up lots.... it seems like the both of us din really change much... i mean.... behaviour,etc appearance.. of cos he did.... hair style... dye hair....,etc but it's just the same old us chatting.... and of cos... he'll never let go of chances to make fun of me.... :) i hope to meet up with more sec sch frens... i just miss all the time we spent together in sec sch days... the good old days.... arh.... i miss those days.... :) :) :)

woah.... realised i haven't blog for a week... abit wierd... cos previously blog so often.... but got reason wan..... cos previously resting and rotting away at home... cos everyday so sian... den blog lor... now sch start.... hmm... went to bowl and watch fireworks with my aunt, cousins, niece and nephew!! it was really fun! the kids are really cute... simply just love the time spent with them! next day, friday, 10 aug... finally meet up with my boy!! went for movie, dinner as usual... but really cherish the time together... this weekend so happy... cos really got to spend alot of time with him... saturday acc him for dinner and sunday, we went to vivo to check out handphones, shop around... bought donuts from donut parlour... not as nice as donut factory.... boo hoo!! (thanks to my cousin's boyfren, bryan who went to queue for more than 2 hours at raffles city, donut factory on national day and brought to marina square for us to taste the superb donuts!) ya... so.... get wad i mean?? donut factory is definitely a 5* donut shop... haha... but the queuing time puts me off....

finally started my tutorials this week... i think my tutors are really nice and friendly... they don't order you around, gives us respect and treat us like fellow colleagues... feel homely... hehe... but my days starts late and of cos ends late too... usually ends about evening.... but i dun have the need to wake up too early to go to sch except for monday.. got lesson at 8.30am... but... i still think my timetable is rather good... so far, so good... trying to make more friends there... den can find khakis to study together and mug together early... cos i think i'm getting alot of question marks.... esp my chinese part... some parts are really confusing... i like the educational psychology lessons! it's really interesting!! gonna meet up with my GESL group tml for the 2nd time... missed out alot of stuff with them... i hope i wouldn't feel left out tml...

just received a sms from my boy... he's super tired, waiting for cab home with some friends.... HOWEVER, all the cabs go hide again!!!

Speaking about this really does make my blood boil....

Recently in the news, it's been reported that some MERCEDES cabs "park" along clarke quay, outside MOS, waiting for tourists to "hail" them... and they will charge at $35!!! that's horrible... they are like lions!! according to the reporter, only at certain places like hotels' taxi service, changi airport or expo, there are special cases where merc cab will charge at this rate, but THESE blackhearted cabbies decide to "CHEAT" the tourists' money... and when the tourists happen to ask locals whether this fare is reasonable, the rude cabbie told the local off, asking the local to mind his own biz... how can this be happening?? this is such a shame to singapore....

talking about the cabbies, i really think that singapore really "dotes" them too much.. thinking that they don't have enough income when there's a hike in petrol prices,etc so, they let the cabs charge all the peak hour charge($2), ERP, midnite charge., on-call, city area charge...etc and THESE cabbies really know how to make full use of these charges... when it's peak hour, all the cabs will come out... when it's like... 30 mins before peak hour, it's super hard to get a cab... why?? because they go hiding.... eat or drink or even park somewhere to take a nap... so they can earn the peak hour ($2) WHAT ELSE?? they go hiding so that people will call them...... ON CALL CHARGES... $4!!! So, when you are in the city area, it's super duper hard to get a cab... because..... they want you to CALL at PEAK hour to earn all the GOOOOOOOOD money... So, in this way, cabbies are "encouraged" to hide in corners and wait for the good money, instead of going out to search for commuters... i wonder if this is the reason why more cab companies are opening... and is this the reason why... with more cab companies, more people are deprived of the chance of hailing a cab on the street... more cabs that are empty and has the "busy" and "on call" sign on their decks....

I simply "LOVE" the cabbies!!!

today is the last day of my mc... hehe... of cos... it's alot better... though can't open my mouth as easy as last time (for the time being..... i hope...) can eat simple smaller sized items already... like.... noodles, bee hoon, porridge.. the ingredients.. only the softer ones can eat... :( missed eating jap food... loved sushi~ gonna return to sch on monday... had been slacking for half a month of august... but still get paid... *grinz* hehe.. hmm... but sad.. sad.. sad... can't claim for my surgery... all say it's considered as dental treatment.. dental cannot claim wan.... so sad.... after govt subsidy, still need to pay $900+ lehz....

Anyway, read sunday times over the weekends and saw an ad by HP... there's a promotion for the laptop... it's quite a good deal... $1499 for the laptop that has all the functions... plus... hmm.... something that i can claim too..... haha.. MOE has a learning and development claim for teachers... for me, with job experience less that 15 years, i have $400 a year to claim for things i buy that can "improve" my "productivity" eg. laptop, books, smartphones, pda...etc so..... it's gonna somehow bring down the amount of money i pay.. so, why not?? i'm super interested in getting the hp laptop... anyone wanna subsidise me further?? hehe..

4th Aug... went with my mum to marina bay for the ndp show rehearsal... this is not a full rehearsal.. so, there's many things missing... like.... FIREWORKS!!! (Aww... so sad...) BUT... i have to thank YINGRU for the tix anyway.... cos it's the first time ndp is held there.... and it's really an eyeopener!! it's a rare opportunity... it's better than nothing!! (I was actually rotting at home, going mouldy already with my stupid swell face... SO, really thank him so much!!) I think with fireworks, it will really be a grand grand grand show!! looking forward to the real NDP show!! dun have tix.. but will be meeting my cousins n my cute nieces and nephew to merlion park to take a look and to feel the "HEAT". dun like to pick up the calls... can't speak... good thing mum is home most of the time.. den she can pick up the home fone.. today the bleeding had stopped somehow.. but.. can't really close my mouth.. lower lips is swelling.. face swells slightly too... aww... i had this... dun hungry... eat only for the sick of taking my medicine.. cos.. must be after food.. if not will have gastric pain cos the medicine may be too strong... and ya... know wad is my food like? it's bread crumbs that i use 10 minutes to make them into small bits.. (as small as abt... i can say... 3mm??) and i only "ate" about a tablespoon full of these bread crumbs together with a considerably dilute, room temperature and less than half a cup of milo... can't bite.. so have to swallow these bread crumbs down with the milo.. and most of the time... got abit feeling like gonna be choked like that... so sick... make me lose all my appetite further... everytime wanna take medicine, need to put aside about at least half an hour to "prepare" my meal... which is the bread crumb... whole day like pig like that... slp and slp and slp... can't go out.. scared ppl see my pig face.. can't eat... will choke to death... can't chat on the fone the kill boredom... can't concentrate watching drama... feels groggy most of the time... can only keep ranting in my blog...

anyway... thanks to all those who had sent me sms or tag a word of concern.. that is deeply appreciated... cos... these actually help to bring up my mood a little... :)

i am back from my surgery... was fully aslp when they were removing the teeth, dunno everything they do.. even stitching my gum up.. when i start to regain my conscious, still no energy to move.. only can open my eyes by a bit...super groggy... that time, i was still in the operation theatre.. after a while, a nurse took my blood pressure and heart beat.... afterwhich, they pushed me to the day ward.. i start to regain more energy.. my mouth was also hurting.. i pressed the nurses bell and see if they could give me painkillers or sth... a kind nurse came to attend me.. she changed the cotton that i have in my mouth, gave me some apple juice and let me gargle a little bit of water to spit out the blood... she told me to rest towards the side that is not so painful (my left side...) i tried to get back to slp since i still feel groggy... but i could not.. then i guy came with all my medication.. the nurse then came back to to attend to me, giving me the painkiller.. then i tried my best to go back to slp... wanted to reach for my hp.. but it's locked inside the cupboard and i also got no energy.. so, after the surgery, i just wake up feeling groggy and go back to slp again.. i must be a very ma fan patient.. after taking the painkillers, a while later, i wanna go to the washroom, so i press the nurse bell again.. den the nurse accompanied me to the washroom, she try to make me feel better by talking to me, saying that after a while, things will be alright... she even ask me wad was my height.. say i very tall... but i couldn't really speak... so she just make her own guessing... my throat hurts alot... dunno wad i put during the surgery... now my throat has some abrasion... so, it's painful when i swallow things... only had the apple juice today.. dun feel hungry.. just lost all my appetite... hope everything will end sooner...

my face after the surgery, actually swell... and as mentioned by the nurses, it will swell to the worst stage when it is 72 hours after the surgery... which is saturday morning... dunwan him to see my pig face.... but wanna see him.... dunno wad to do... Now, i can only drink or swallow very very soft food and it must be about room temperature.. not too hot, not too cold.. no spicy too.. (anyway, i don't take spicy food too...) hope everything won't affect the cousin's outing on national day too... miss my nieces and nephew alot... wanna see them,...

I think Ting is interested in knowing the cost of the operation.... anyway.. ya... before govt subsidy, it's about $1700.. After govt subsidy is about $950... about half the original cost... so i would advise people to spend abit of money to see dentist is polyclincs first... den will have govt subsidy for consultation as well as surgery... (just take note!! go to the correct polyclinic... if you wanna extract from A.H, den must go NHG polyclinics.. if SGH, den go singhealth polyclinics... so you can get the correct referer... singhealth will not refer you to A.H.) payment can be medisave (parent's or your own one... if it's own medisave, not enough money, can top up with cash, nets or credit card..)

okay.. yaya... no more food and drinks... went to gym in the afternoon wanting to tire myself out completely so i can slp early and would not feel thirsty... but my mum... hai... shd i say.. my aunt?? hmm... gratitude goes to my 5th aunt who is feeling concern abt my health cos i'm going for the dental surgery.. so she gave a pkt of american ginseng to my mum to boil it into drinks for me... and ya... wad a day to choose.... after i come back from gym, i drank 2 cups of it and ever since i drink it.... i'm feeling super energetic... can't get to slp.... gosh.... still got a bit of flu... dunno will affect tml or not... dunwan to postpone the surgery.. cos if postpone, must wait till december den wun affect my lessons... who knows wad will happen in between... so i must get it done tml,.. hope tml when i wake up, everything is gone... no morning sinus for me pls!!!

finalised my date for my wisdom teeth extraction operation le... gonna be on 1st aug.. wed.. which is just 3 days more.. now trying super hard to recover from my flu n slight sorethroat... cos if sick, den can't go for operation... i dunwan to have anymore delays.. cos... i'll have to wait till december if i dunwan to miss lessons.. currently lessons have not really started.. so... now shd be a better time.. gonna go for the operation that will slp.. the general one... that takes 6 hours... so scared! cos need to have injection and after wake up, 4 teeth gone and 7 days of MC waiting for me.. plus... i dun think i'll be able to eat.. cos... after a week, need to take out the stitches... everything just seem to be quite scary... cos got risks involve... my wisdom tooth at the bottom is pressing on the nerve... so i'll lose my feeling of bite for min. a month... some suay people will experience permanent lost of feeling... i hope i dun belong the the latter...

anyway... last friday got my teambonding day with my GESL group... which will be my group for the service learning course... need to plan a service learning thing for the community with them... was a bit surprised because it's a group with people of different race, age, backgrounds...etc i have group members already married for 5 years and group member that will get married next year.. and also group members who is mid-career change... and even a registered nurse! all the rojak qualities... haha.. anyway... they are all nice people... and some are really enthu... hope we'll have a great time working with each other.. :) but.. 1st aug is actually a day where we meet for the first time for GESL... but... i'm gonna miss it... cos the operation is 8am in the morning! super early....

FIRST DAY at NIE!!!
saw many ppl.... as expected... my course has many sirs and madams who are obviously at least 10 years older.... and there is a high possibility of them being my classmates... haha.. anyway.. so far so gd ba... cos... now is still the orientation aka honeymoon period... saw someone who looks like Chong Loon.. haha.. so funny... den i even ask chong loon if it's really him.. mayb acc his fren there... and so qiao... when i msg... that... "chong loon" happen to check hp too... for a few occasion... that's y i tot it's really him.. haha... after that.. saw the "chong loon" in the Chinese briefing also... haha... so qiao.. gonna find out more abt this person.. mayb he is somehow related to chong loon.. mayb.... long lost brother or cousin...etc lolz.. anyway... arghZ!!! my nose kenna flu bug again... stupid wisdom tooth is bugging me too.. infection.. causing my immunity to reduce further... goodness sick! my immunity is alr bad in the first place... so.... i really hope to extract them faster... but... from the "calendar" i see today... seems like i must wait till it's my vacation... which is december den i'll have my "free time" to do so... cos... operation needs lotsa rest!!! and yes! ppl who are down with flu syndrome like me needs lots of rest too! i hope i'll have time to blog abt my NIE life almost everyday or hmm... at least every week... hope to pen down stuff to look back in future.... gonna rest alr... flu bug is attacking..... ended my job as a relief teacher on 20th july, friday... finally.... hmm.... seems fast.... even though it had alr been more than half a year. sickening me! nvr bring my camera on the last day to take pictures with my cute pri 1 students.... esp aden, fahkruddin, iswandee, yifan, iman... lolz... mostly boys.... i guess... boys are really cuter in primary sch... they are forever with endless energy that could keep them super hyperactive for the whole day. shy boys are also cute.. haha.. but most of those i'm "in love" with are all cheeky boys who nvr fails to catch my attention.. i love their eyes! (big n beautiful... seem to be able to speak!! haha..) din get to see my attention seeking girl before i leave.. hope she's fine n well.. :)

went for the appointment at Alex. hosp on sat to talk abt my extraction of my buried wisdom teeth.. why is it teeth, not tooth?? cos.... the dentist actually suggested me to extract all FOUR on the same day, at the same time!! think i'll die of PAIN!! haven't made any appointment for the operation yet because it will take me a day... cos it's day operation and it's a whole person under anaesthesia for at least 6 hours... need to be aslp after the operation until the groggy effect goes off... and.... haha! actually... i'm still young!!! they say i below 21 years old, need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian... haha.... UNBELIEVABLE!!! cos i'm alr a person who had started to work... yet operation still nee to be accompanied by parent... sound like some PG movie where children need to have parent's guidance... lolz! hahaha... anyway... ya... haven't book any appointment cos i dunno which parent will be able to acc me there.. and... dunno if i have any civil service benefits... and the dentist say i'll need to have A WEEK of MC after that... NIE is paying me to study... can't miss their lessons... scared they make me repeat or make me pay... so need to wait for study recess or vacation... and the nearest recess is last week of september... the operation don't seem to be very expensive if u consider extracting FOUR teeth... cos... everything adds up to about a thousand bucks.. i hope i'll have my civil service benefits... den.... 85% will be paid by MOE... den i dun need to pay so much for my operation... mayb less than 200 bucks summore... hehe.. hmmm... this entry is super duper long! i beta stop alr! haha... i want to swim!!! finally see the sun out!!!! 14th july, saturday, just signed a contract which costs me 5 years of freedom... haha... i actually "sold" myself to MOE on saturday.. hmm... 2 years of studying + 3 years bond... nearly din make it for the signing... cos... din read the letters properly... nearly "lost" one of my surety... heng... last min, a cousin of mine helped to be my surety.. hehe..

15th july... sunday.. met up with 05a7b classmates to sentosa.. hmm... tried to take the skyride n the luge.... i love the experience on the luge... but.... it's a pity that it's quite a fast trip down... so fast, that i haven't get the kick yet... haha... hope to go for it again! hehe... anyway... at the beach abit bored on sat... cos... nth much to do there... mere dipping into the water and chat... nth much... lunch at thai express was rather nice too.. the glass noodles is really tasty... hehe... i tot everything in the menu will be spicy... good thing that.... some aren't spicy... and it's delicious summore! celia n ying ying ordered the something in the tomyum soup, but when their order were brought to our table, we tot the order was wrong cos the soup base was clear... it doesn't seem "tom yum" But...... after they try their soup, from their expressions..... hehe... can see that... it's really tom yum soup... and it's rather spicy summore... if it's my order, i think i'll just leave the bowl of glass noodles in tom yum soup alone, and order something new... or.... maybe, i'll just lose all my appetite... haha... anyway.. ya.... time spent was quite enjoyable i must say.... but..... just hope the next outing not that boring... i mean... ya... like.. chatting away at the beach... cos... there are also other places that we can chat... mayb... an outing to some boardgames cafe?? at least... i think that it more fun! hehe!

Animal lovers have criticized the practice, saying deep frying the fish while alive puts it through extreme pain.

The chef in the southern city of Chiayi said the dish _ called "yin yang fish" _ is popular in China, where chefs use it to show customers how fresh the food is.

"I've tried my best to offer my customers the finest dishes," the report quoted the chef, who was only identified by his surname, Wang, as saying.

Officials in Chiayi promised to persuade Wang to drop the dish from his menu, the report said.

i dunno how ppl think abt eating a fish like that..
but for me, i think this is definitely sick! psychopatic! even if i'm an omnivorous... i do eat meat... but this is too much to take... how could someone be eating happily facing a fish that is still staring at u, eating it's flesh?? just imagine how it feels when someone is tied to a chair, forced to look at how people are trying to cut their flesh out in front of them? it simply hurts! and it is super cruel! i really hope the people in these related countries put a stop to that.... that's simply insane, out of their mind and simply cold-blooded! to think that there are people out there who still doesn't mind and eat the fish like that! u people who eat the fish like that are sick!! psycho!!!

absent from blogging for a month!!

haha... hmm... of cos... many many things happened..... first of all!!!! it's june holidays... i left my job... took few pix with my class on the last day of school... they are such darlings.... love them lots!!! told them i'm leaving and will not be back (most probably..) got many stuff from them... letters, cards, drawings... guess they think i will not be going back at all... BUT!!! i received a call from the sch n they told me they need people in the afternoon session and they need me to be in the aftnoon session again! yeah! get to see my darlings... but... dunno which class i'll be taking....

(haha... missed some parts i guess... hmm.. ok... admit... i did!) at the end of the day... winson drove us back! thanks for the ride! :)

went for a family outing with my cousins and aunt..... (mainly cousins!) had a great time at ECP playin with the kids.... heyz! my niece and nephews can cycle really well! (zhen ren bu lou xiang!) maybe they can be future professional cyclists in future.... they manage to cycle for really a long distance.... ( for kids, that's super long!!) i know they are super tired, but they have a remarkable spirit n sportmanship! *cheerios* had a lil picnic there.. and simple ball games and card games... at the end of the day, had dinner together at a veg restaurant at joo chiat.. nice time!! wanna have another gathering like this soon!! :)

heys! i've been really busy at work... tons and tons of books and worksheets for me to clear when i open my eyes everyday... even wkends!!! brought home lots of work to mark.... but....... all these are gonna come to an end soon.... my service will end on 26 may... the last day of sch before all my cute children go for their june holidays... had been rather stressed up at work recently cos their exams are round the corner and I've not finish marking all their assignments.... need to give them back all the assignments to revise for their exams... gosh! need to have lots n lots of OT!! but... no OT pay.. *sobx* will be sharing my experience another day... cos.... i still have lotsa things to mark!! pen off now!! *grinz*

i'll be starting my job soon... next wed.. 3rd of jan.. i'm gonna be a....... relief teacher at a primary sch!! so exciting.... had attended 2 staff meetings... yesterday and today.. it was really tiring... 8.30 to 5.30... lots and lots of info are "downloaded" into us.. oh yes! i'm teaching primary 2... gonna be afternoon session.. so.... ya.... don't think i'll wanna go out in the weekdays.... gonna be tired and gonna be real wierd with clothes that are so different from my fellow frenz! of cos... my weekend will be booked by my darling... but i'll still be available for another weekend... i guess... haha... there seem to be so many things we must do and must not do... this job is gonna be damn challenging for me..

the other day, quite long time ago le la... see TODAY's newspaper.. den come across stuff that is interesting... HAPPY READING!!!

First, it's a lesson to be learned about "LOVE".. there are many ways... choose the right way.. :)

Next, it's about the fall in the number of ppl taking public transport in singapore.. mainly public buses... personally, i'm a student.. so i dun request much out of buses.. i mean.. the comfort of buses.. cos... i can't afford to spend my money on taking cab all the time.. the thing that i hope that public transport (bus) can improve on... maybe it will be the time that the bus will reach.. actually... i feel that the buses can "learn" from the bus service 186 where bus stop serving 186 will have a bus schedule of 186... the time that the bus will reach the bus stop.. this is very beneficial for the commuters who wants to plan their journey well.... also, people will be less likely to be angered when they miss the bus as the time the next bus that will be reaching will be clearly stated. also, the implementation of bus lane is good.. but.. the traffic police or the authorities dun seem to be carrying out duties of clearing pte cars out of the bus lanes... esp in orchard... buses will be stucked in the jam for quite sometime.. so... hmm... ya... hope some transport authorities will be reading this blog... and... haha... mayb do something about the bus timings.. :)

Lastly.... haha.... Fat Reseach!! i like this research... if the research is successful, i predict that the response from Ladies will be overwhelming!! everyone will be really glad to part with their fats.... moreover, it's gonna be beneficial to the recipent.. :) thumbs up!! what a win-win situation.... HOPE this research will succeed soon... then.... i'll be the first few who will turn up to donate my fats away!! :) hehe..

went to chinese garden to see this year's lantern festival... it's the 7 wonders.....
after i enter the place with my dear, i really wonder if i am at the right place... cos... everything is so different from the previous 2 years.... i love the year that feature disney characters... i feel as though i'm in a wonderland... a magical and fairytale feeling... so fascinating.. just like i'm back to my childhood times.. but that friday nite, i was so disappointed... chinese garden look so... empty.... cheat my money wan.... hmm... took pix of almost all the things i can see there... but it's still pathetically few photos only... -_-"

having gp tuition since end of july.. hope my gp will really improve. have not been going out with my darlin for quite sometime. just see him some times when we have stuff to pass to each other thats all. but will go out with him b4 his birthday. den most likely after his birthday, no going out till my a levels end ba. time really flies. the week after the ndp will be all my pre-prelims. den after 1 more week, will be prelims. gonna be choked by all the overwhelming workload. hope all these will come to an end really soon.
